On the 2nd of June rent a car (civic 1.8, bes giler) and drive from manchester.. 4 hours drive to southampton, then lek2 jap, then another 4 hours drive to quarryfield in newquay, where the caravan is situated. Accommodation was great, caravan bes giler~ rase cam duduk dalam rumah.. complete sume, mmg perfect la 8-) On the 3rd, we went jalan2 ke bawah lagi dari newquay, pegi land's end (hujung dunia kot translate die jadi :P). weather was good! but angin punya la kuat time ni, tapi cantik yang sangat2! managed to snap the ocean as well as the blue sky, tersangat la puas hati.. eheheheh.. after that pegi st. ives.. time ni matahari mmg memancar, pantai die seconet je tapi meriah gile.. sume pn sibuk nak balik tak sabar nak mandi pantai.. hehehe.. lagipn it's only an hour drive from caravan tu.. sampai kat crantock beach (near caravan) tu dah nak dekat2 sunset, kitorg tak dapat port yang nampak matahari terbenam, nampak awan2 purple tu je, tapi still puas hati.. hehehe.. tak masuk pn air, sejukkkkk!!! beku kalau masuk, LOL konon je summer tapi still sejuk UK ni :P the next day tu, cuace tak bes sgt.. kecewa je, konon nak gi tgk sunset yang nampak matahari tu btul2 terbenam, tapi dah hujan.. apa pn tarak $-) then pegi la drive nak cari pantai2 lain dekat cornwall tu.. gi falmouth and penzance, menarik gak la, tapi tatau camne nak turun pantai, tgk dari jauh je LOL disebabkan dua ari kecewa tak dapat main pantai, on the final day dekat newquay, terjun jugak laut.. heheheh.. bia sejuk yang tak terhingga pn.. pantai tu terase cam private beach because tak ramai org.. heheheh.. after that pegi naik the cliff surrounding crantock beach tu.. magnificient view.. mmg tak terkate.. hehehehe.. cliff2 dekat cornwall ni mmg sgt menarik, cam selalu tgk dalam poskad ke, video clip ke kan.. tapi sebenarnye mmg wujud tempat2 camtu, bukannye diorg reka2 :-O one thing great about driving in UK is dapat the driving experience that i never encounter kt malaysia. the scenery mmg totally different la. And thanks to TomTom Nav, tah jalan mane2 laaa die bawakkk kitorg.. Stock lalu jalan kampung² and the road mmg kecik.. Seriau gak kalo selisih ngn lori/bas. But the good thing is kitorg dpt dtg tgk country side kt UK nehh~ superb experience! And mind the tiang lampu kt gambar "I amsterdam" tu gak since im just being lazy to stamp out tiang tu.. The journey started on the 16th of March to Prague. Stayed there for 4 nights (rasenye) in Top Hotel Praha. Accommodation was excellent. 4-star hotel but cheap! Seriously, paid for £8 per person/night inclusive breakfast! U wont get this offer in Malaysia LOL Food consumption in prague? Maggie goreng jekkk for dinner :P McD Fillet o'fish for lunch.. Seriously nak muntah da tgk McD. Prague town mmg old town habis laa.. Most of the buildings are old buildings and diorg retain the design though there are few modern designed here and there. I hav lots of pics but just x larat nak upload kt sini.. :D After Prague, went to Bratislava. Did not impress me when i first saw the town and its surrounding. Luckily day after went out with friends from Slovak which at least changed my perception towards Bratislava. Hahaha.. Just a small town with lots of old people! Seriously tatao apsl.. And time kt situ, tgh easter plak.. So on Sunday jalan2 tu most of the kedai were closed. Oh, forgot to mention. I stayed in an apartment there which is quite mahal. Paid for €25 per person/night. But apartment tu best la, besar and ade sume mende :P But then i would suggest that you stay in vienna and plan a day trip to Bratislava. Buy a return ticket which cost less than €10 In Vienna, stayed there the longest throughout the holiday. superb place! stayed in a hostel £20 per night, tapi worth it yang amat2.. huhuh. jalan2 dekat town die memang tak boring, hahah.. literally 'window' shopping for about 2 days gak la (kedai sume tutup easter hols:P). Went to vienna's zoo!! YESSS! U heard me.. ZOO!! best!! It is the largest and oldest zoo in europe (rasenye :P) Kt situ jek dpt mkn langos (or is it langgos???? sbb xjumpe pon kt tmpt laen..rase macam cucur LOL), hehehe. asik makan jek. tapi btul la kan, what holidays are for :P oh, lupe, vienna snow lebat gile.. hahaha... jakun gile kot dapat tgk snow :P I'll post pic of my sno-man later.. now da 3.29am (at time of writing) Last stop in europe was Amsterdam. kat sini disappointing sikit, the most expensive accommodation (£22 per night) and the most disastrous tempat tido ever!! merosakkan mood gile :( though the owner is muslim, but i just dont think it is worth it staying in that hotel. Hotel Brasteuraat (ntah cemane eja). Sib baik dapat makan waffle yang sgt sedap, with aiskrim.. owh, waffle tu rase macam cekodok! huhuhu.. (am i missing malaysian food? langos rase cam cucur la..waffle cam cekodok???! LOL) and fries yang sedap (ketchup 40cent la tapi) dan juge ayam pn sedap! hihihi.. makan, makan, makannnnnn :P Other than that, just jalan2 dalam town, did not get the chance to go outside amsterdam i.e. visit country side diorg (tgk tulip and windmill sume tu). Owh, getting around amsterdam can be done by canal-bus or bicycle-riding. Byk gile beskal kt situ. Though i've read that cycling around Amsterdam worth every penny u spend (if u know the jalan la kan), but i decided to go with canal-bus. The most expensive public transport :P Hehehe.. €18 for a day-trip (which actually valid till 12 noon next day) After a short trip in amsterdam, lega gilerr da nak blk to manchester. But my flight from amsterdam was to London. Touched down at London Gatwick around 4pm, took the easybus service to London Victoria. I thought it would only be sejam lebeyh je but turned out to be 2 jam lebey² sket journey to london. I was about to muntah in that van though the van was quite comfortable. Jam giler nak masok city of london tu, then the driver plak have to brake every 2secs (ok! im exaggerating! LOL) At last smpai gak la kt london and tros carik McD (tadi ckp da nk muntah tgk McD?? $-) ) Here, i would like to thank Pakcik jage kaunter metro @ London sbb kasi day ticket free to me!! If not u hav to pay £4 for single trip (Victoria to Euston). Cayalaahh pakcik! Da la bole ckp melayu..hhahaha.. And he is quite fluent with malay language.
